I have never received one payment from homeaway since I listed my property, over 8 months ago. They owe me over 8,000 dollars. I call home away and they promised a funding date. That day came and went. Ive called two more times and now they have an excuse that yapstone says my account is on hold and they dont know when the funds will be deposited.

I have never encountered a company that operates like true thieves (in the night). VRBO should be ashamed of themselves working through this platform

VRBO and Yapstone; Con men, rip off artists, thieves, charlatans and masters of fraud. My $ is being held hostage for my vacation rental which has been occupied for almost 10 days....and not one cent has been credited to me despite the fact that the renter paid them $18,000.00!

Máster of deceit and shakedowns. Don’t trust these bastards.

When you call for help they have someone in the Philippines answer the phone. Filing a law suit and going to D.A.’s office for help.

Yapstone and VRBO should be ashamed of their Mafia-like shakedown of VRBO owners. No warning and ?

auto opt -in to their money grubbing scheme.

Shame on both of them!!!!!!!! #YapstoneCrooks!

Operating as a host in France. Agree 100%. Dropping them like a hot brick next month.

Guest

I totally agree with your view. Yapstone and VRBO are in this together and they should be ashamed for extorting their customers. This has been a problem ever since Expedia took over VRBO.

Abused and sworn at by yapstone
After asking a simple question to get removed from advanced pay this is the response I get. Appalled by the rudeness and fowl language I received. How is this customer service?

I got this same response today when I asked to be removed from the fee based advanced payment. I called VRBO to send them this response.

I also called Tom Villante and Debra and left voicemails. This response was rude and uncalled for.

i have rented thru vrbo for over two decades with no problems but since vrbo merged with Homeaway they use Yapstone for their billing. For months now Yapstone has collected the money but has NOT paid me anything. In addition Yapstone cancelled all my bookings thru 2020 and refunded the money to the clients. OUTRAGEOUS!!! they are the worst scammers

Fraudulently electronically transferred my money to somebody

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I scheduled a check payment for $1400 on Sept 23rd 2019 with reference number 11727****:47

It said that my landlord should have received the check by Oct 2nd 2019 by USPS mail.I still haven't received the check in the mail Oct 4th 2019.

So when I called the number 866730**** option 4(rentals.com powered by yapstone), the agents say they have already sent the payment on Sept 24th 2019 to the property managers' account and it has been "encashed" via a different reference number 195235**-** on sept 24th with a bank account ending 2513.

My landlord doesn't have any bank account ending 2513 not is she registered with rentals.com or yapstone.com . How could yapstone or rentals.com electronically send it to someone without due diligence?

My landlord banks with chase and she hasn't received any payment from rentals.com as of today.

I at once emailed Tom villante and the legal department legal@***.com and they realized the mistake without an apology.

I have disputed it with my credit card company and will never do business with rentals.com powered by yapstone.com. Stole my money fraudulently.

Moreover I haven't given any banking info on the rentals.com website.

Is this fraud?

Since I haven't received my check by USPS mail till today I am going to have to open a fraudulent transaction with my credit card company.

I never knew you would rob people of their hard earned money.

VRBO should be standing up to Yapstone for my money. Yapstone needs the Banking regulators to come in and shut them down. This company is stealing from all us small businesses that are trying to get paid. Do not do Business with this company Angry

Yapstone are terrible and greedy

Using Yapstone to process VRBO payments. Yapstone sent an email and effectively doubled their fees from 3% to 6% in one day with no notice. They certainly aren't doing anything to justify the doubling of fees.

I got the same notice fee increasing from 3% to 6%. Look they are collecting money from the traveler and making money on the money they hold back from the homeowner. I book a year in advance so that means Yapstone banks the money until check in.
